CPR Classes

You Can Make A Difference

We believe that having a prepared community means having a safer community.  Through programs established by O’Fallon-Shiloh EMS, citizens now have somewhere to turn for their medical educational needs.  We offer programs geared towards the layperson, educating them on how to understand and react during certain medical emergencies.

Through American Trauma Event Management (ATEM) students learn how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for adult, child, and infant victims. Students also learn to recognize the warning signs of heart attack and stroke in adults, breathing difficulties in children, and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). The intended audience for this certification is the layperson and therefore not approved for healthcare providers.
